  • Teacher session activity

C. Information from Third-Party Services

When integrated classes are used through:

  • Zoom

  • Zoho

  • Google Meet
    These services may collect additional data under their own policies.

D. No Sensitive Personal Data Required

We do not require Aadhaar, PAN, bank account numbers, or biometric data.

2. Children’s Privacy

DeenStream is accessible to children 5 years and above, especially for Urdu learning.

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising minors below age 13.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent.

  • If you believe a child used the app without permission, contact us immediately.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide Urdu classes and learning features

  • Allow teachers to connect with students

  • Manage student accounts

  • Moderate Islamic content submissions

  • Improve app performance and user experience

  • Send notifications about classes and updates

  • Respond to Fatwa questions (if applicable)

  • Ensure safety, security, and compliance

We never use your data for political, harmful, or unlawful purposes.

4. Content Moderation

All uploaded submissions (photos, videos, questions) are manually reviewed to maintain:

  • Respect

  • Accuracy

  • Community guidelines

We may remove or restrict content that violates our rules.

5. Payments (Planned for Future)

When Razorpay, PayU, or other gateways are integrated:

  • You may be asked for payment details to enroll in classes.

  • Payment details are NOT stored by DeenStream.

  • They are processed securely by third-party payment providers.

(Currently, payment features are not active.)

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Your data may be shared only in these situations:

A. With Teachers

To manage classes:

  • Name

  • Age (if student)

  • Contact details (only when necessary)

B. With Service Providers

For:

  • Video conferencing

  • Notifications

  • Analytics

  • Technical support

C. Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by:

  • Government authority

  • Security-related requests

D. Internal Team

Admins may access data strictly for moderation and operational purposes.
